Following the firm direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, on March 23 2020, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir, swiftly inaugurated Covid-19 Emergency Hospital at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Building. With high enthusiasm and dedication, the BUMN Foundation for Indonesia was entrusted to manage the operations of the building, making it a fortress of defense in the fight against the pandemic that hit this country.

The Covid-19 Emergency Hospital is designed to accommodate up to 3,000 patients. This number is not just a number, but a hope and belief that all Covid-19 patients who have not been treated in referral hospitals will get the care they need and deserve.

Collaboration is the key to success. This Emergency Hospital does not stand alone. With a spirit of mutual cooperation, various parties and volunteers work together to mobilize manpower and resources. Health workers work tirelessly, food providers ensure nutritional intake is maintained, laundry services maintain cleanliness, and medical equipment is provided to support patient care. All of this is done for one noble goal: saving lives and protecting others.

In an atmosphere full of concern, there is an unstoppable spirit. Every step in Wisma Atlet Kemayoran is proof that in the midst of great challenges, the Indonesian nation can unite, stand tall, and fight this pandemic with hearts full of courage and love.
