The role of BK teachers in improving the quality of mental health in students in Jakarta is very important, because BK teachers have great potential to be friends to talk to students, especially in facing the pressures and challenges of adolescence. This program aims to make BK teachers more skilled in providing ideal assistance, especially for high school students. It is hoped that this training can have a wider impact, not only at the Jakarta provincial level, but also at the national level.

The Chairperson of MGBK, Mrs. Mutmainah, who is currently teaching at SMAN 41 Jakarta, emphasized the importance of this training for BK teachers. โThis training is very much needed by BK teachers, because although studentsโ mental health is the responsibility of all teachers, in reality, BK teachers are the ones who most often receive complaints from students. In this training, we received provisions on various techniques, including how to listen well. Hopefully, this program can continue and provide broad benefits for students, BK teachers, and also parents.โ

This activity is part of the BUMN Foundation's commitment to supporting the development of mental health welfare of students in Indonesia. Through this training, it is hoped that BK teachers can make a greater contribution in creating a safe and comfortable school environment for the development of students' mental and emotional status while preparing them to face all kinds of future challenges.
"This training is part of a series of implementations of the ZonaDengar Jiwa program in Schools that we are currently running. ZonaDengar Jiwa develops a strategic approach by creating a mental health-friendly school environment, supporting student well-being holistically, and empowering schools to be able to identify and handle potential mental health problems," said Heru Komarudin, Program Manager of Health and Wellbeing Yayasan BUMN
