Jakarta, August 3, 2024 – BUMN Foundation is proud to announce the launch of Growing Space Program, which aims to optimize the function of space and the role of the integrated health post as a center for holistic child growth and development. This program was officially launched at the Elok Hijau 03 B Integrated Health Post, RW 3, Pegangsaan 2 Village, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta.

Posyandu must play a better role in providing health services for children, posyandu is not only a place to monitor children's development but also a place for parents to learn about good and correct parenting patterns, and play a better role in providing additional nutritional support and education for children and parents about the importance of balanced nutrition. In addition, this program is expected to be more holistic by providing skills improvement training for regional cadres and improving sanitation facilities in the community. The launching event of the Ruang Tumbuh program began with the inauguration and cutting of tumpeng as a symbol of gratitude and hope that this program can continue to grow and provide benefits. Continued with activities for children from the surrounding area participating in painting sessions, social interactions and game sessions as well as education on parenting patterns and balanced nutrition.
"In building the Ruang Tumbuh pilot project, we hope that this project can have an impact on the surrounding people who have not been reached so far," said Nucha Bachri as Co-Founders Parent Talk which is one of the collaborating partners of the Ruang Tumbuh program.
The Ruang Tumbuh program will start in two areas, namely Posyandu RW 02, Gandaria sub-district, South Jakarta and RW 03, Pegangsaan Dua, North Jakarta. Both locations were selected with many indicators such as considering the needs of the community in areas with high population density and RW categories that require special attention.
The foundation collaborates with many cross-sector partners in running this program, such as the Pupla Project, which will focus on the process. participatory design and infrastructure development , Edukazi and Sahabat Gizi as partners to increase family nutrition awareness and child nutrition support, Parent Talk in an effort to increase parenting knowledge and skills, and Thousand Days Fund which has experience in increasing the capacity of cadres in several regions in Indonesia. As well as other partners who will continue to grow in supporting this program.
