BUMN Foundation Welcomes Transformation and New Logo

Jakarta, July 5, 2024 – The BUMN Foundation is proud to carry out a transformation to strengthen its Vision and Mission and fly a new logo and concept held at the Sarinah Building, Central Jakarta. Currently, the BUMN Foundation has two focuses that will be implemented, namely Health Issues with a specific focus on maternal and child health, mental health and issues environment with a focus on sustainable food systems and waste management systems. These two focuses will be implemented by the BUMN Foundation in the future with the aim of providing a multiple transformative impact for the sake of Building Body, Soul and Nature for Indonesia. Through the program study, giving grant And program strategic cooperation with various parties. With a focus aimed at multiplying the positive impact under the auspices of the Ministry of SOEs, the event welcoming this transformation was attended by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, Temasek Foundation, Expert Panels, President Directors of State-Owned Enterprises, Outreach Partners, VC Partners as well as Media Partners. As part of its commitment, the BUMN Foundation supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB), now, the BUMN Foundation is centered on the main pillars: (TPB 2): Zero Hunger, (TPB 3): Healthy and Prosperous Lives, (TPB 4): Quality Education (TPB 7): Affordable and Clean Energy, (TPB 13): Addressing Climate Change. 

With the accompanying data that 6.3 million children in Indonesia in 2020 experienced stunting which had a negative impact on their learning ability, as well as a high risk of depression to an increase of 61% Indonesian teenagers experiencing suicidal tendencies, as well as land degradation which affected 20% of land in Indonesia, the BUMN Foundation focuses on the issue Maternal and Child Health, Mental Health as well as Environment

To realize the transformative vision of the BUMN Foundation, which focuses on Building Soul, Body and Nature for Indonesia, BUMN Foundation airs new logo inspired by song 'Indonesia Raya'. 

  • 'Body and soul' Covers physical and mental health.
  • 'Thought' Fostering entrepreneurship, education and empowerment.
  • 'Natural' Fighting for the preservation of the earth.
  • 'Life' Fulfill basic human needs.

Which seeks to awaken the spirit, mind and life of the individual, echoing the call of the national anthem to awaken the essence, intellectuality, nature, life and unity of the nation for the sake of A greater Indonesia.

In moment This transformation of the BUMN Foundation collaborates with the expert panel in every field as advisor, namely: 

  • Prof. Agus P. Sasmito, PhD, PEng, FCIM: Researcher, Professor (Associate) McGill University, Canada, Canada who founded the McGill Mine Multiphysics Laboratory and developed technologies for mine ventilation, temperature control, geo-energy, thermal energy storage, and multi-physics modeling in the mining sector.
  • Prilly Latuconsina: Co-Founder of Earth Caring Generation & Founder and CMO of Sinemaku.
  • Vikra Ijas:Social Entrepreneur, Co-founder & CEO of Kitabisa.com
  • Nacitta Kanyandara, MBA: Food technology expert, Co-Founder & CEO of Arummi Foods.
  • Dr. Desti Alkano: Co-Founder & Executive Director of ECADIN (Energy Academy Indonesia).
  • Dr. Taufiq W Triambodo: Experienced Environmental Specialist.
