Jakarta, April 21, 2025 – The BUMN Foundation held an audience with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which was attended directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Dr. Ir. Pramono Anung, MM, at the Jakarta City Hall. This audience was also attended by officials from the Jakarta Provincial Government, including representatives from the Health Office and the Youth and Sports Office. From the BUMN Foundation, the Chairman of the BUMN Foundation, Mr. Syafuan, along with the implementing team, were also accompanied by one of the expert panels, namely Dr. Ray Wagiu Basrowi.

The meeting began with an explanation of the track record of collaboration between the BUMN Foundation and the Jakarta Provincial Government, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, the Foundation was actively distributing medical devices and providing direct support to the community. On this occasion, the Foundation explained that in accordance with the direction of the Minister of BUMN, the Foundation has now transformed into a catalyst for cross-sector collaboration, with a primary focus on health and environmental issues.
The BUMN Foundation also explained two flagship programs that are currently being implemented: Ruang Tumbuh And Mendengar Jiwa. Ruang Tumbuh is a Posyandu revitalization program based on participatory design, which targets areas with high social disparities to strengthen maternal and child health services in an inclusive and sustainable manner. Meanwhile, Mendengar Jiwa is a holistic adolescent mental health treatment program, including screening, education, and counseling services that currently focuses on high school students.
The Governor expressed his appreciation for the BUMN Foundation's initiative and assessed that the programs are very much in line with the strategic priorities of the Jakarta Provincial Government, including efforts to prevent stunting and improve the quality of community mental health. He also highlighted the lack of safe and inclusive spaces for adolescents to express themselves as one of the main causes of mental health problems in Jakarta. In response to this, the Provincial Government is developing a policy to utilize city parks as creative and participatory spaces for young people.
In the audience, the Governor also emphasized the importance of real actions that have a direct impact, such as strengthening green open spaces and free transportation policies on certain days as a form of attention to community welfare.
Through this audience, the BUMN Foundation strengthens its commitment to establish sustainable synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to create a real impact in the field of maternal and child health and adolescent mental health, as part of a collective effort towards a healthier and more prosperous society.
