Jakarta, March 21, 2025 – The BUMN Foundation held an audience with the Ministry of Population and Family Development/National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) to align the mental health program (ZonaDengar Jiwa) and maternal and child health (Ruang Tumbuh) with initiatives under the BKKBN. The audience took place at the BKKBN Office and was attended by the Deputy for Family Welfare and Family Empowerment (KSPK), Mr. Nopian Andusti, along with the team from the Directorate of Youth Resilience and Indonesian Genre.

In this meeting, the BUMN Foundation and BKKBN discussed opportunities for collaboration on programs related to children, adolescents, and the elderly. BKKBN welcomed the potential for harmonization between the Hearing Soul Zone and the School Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK RS), as well as the collaboration of Ruang Tumbuh with the Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (Tamasya) program. In addition, the possibility of developing a guidebook for teachers, students, and parents that can be developed together with the Genre program was also discussed.

BKKBN also highlighted the issue of children's mental health in juvenile prisons, opening up the possibility of cooperation to support the mental well-being of children under 17. The discussion also included the development of Learning Management System (LMS) that is ideal for youth skills materials, including mental health aspects.

As a follow-up, the BUMN Foundation plans to hold Focus Group Discussion (FGD) after the Eid holiday, inviting various stakeholders such as the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI), BKKBN, Genre, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Culture, and Ministry of Youth and Sports. This FGD aims to strengthen synergy and support the development of sustainable adolescent mental health programs.

With the spirit of collaboration, BUMN Foundation continues to be committed to providing real solutions for Indonesia. Synergy with various stakeholders is expected to create a sustainable impact that not only improves the quality of life of today's society, but also builds a healthier, stronger, and more empowered future generation.
