'Best Minds of the Nation' Registration Officially Closed: BUMN Foundation Ready to Filter Brilliant Ideas for the Future

Jakarta, July 24, 2024 – BUMN Foundation is pleased to announce that 991 solutions and innovations have been registered from all over Indonesia in the Best Minds in the Country program. Registration for this program was officially opened on July 5, 2024, lasting for 20 days, and has now officially closed on July 24, 2024. The program, which has the main objective of finding, fostering and developing social entrepreneurs who are able to provide real impact, has received an extraordinary response from various organizations, startup, and individuals who are committed to creating positive change in the field of maternal & child health. (stunting) and mental health, sustainable food security systems and waste management.

The Best Minds of the Country are Grant Competition initiated by the BUMN Foundation, collaborating with impact investment ecosystems such as Venture Capital from within BUMN and outside BUMN, and supported by Media Partner with global coverage as a partner that expands the reach of programs and communities driving social business / innovation throughout Indonesia. 

"We are very proud of the enthusiasm of the impact makers who have presented 991 creative innovations that reflect the determination to Build Body and Soul for Indonesia. The enthusiasm of these impact makers is the result of good collaboration between the BUMN Foundation and the impact investment ecosystem that has helped voice the Best Minds in the Country program, so that in a period of approximately 20 days, we managed to receive more than 991 solutions from all over Indonesia. I hope this program can provide a manifold impact for the impact makers and the Indonesian nation," said Mayasari Indah Lestari, Chief of Programs and Operations BUMN Foundation.

The next stage is a strict selection to choose the 20 best participants who will receive a total of grant Rp 3,000,000,000 (three billion rupiah). In addition to receiving training that improves social business skills and abilities, participants will also take part in Grant Final Pitch in front of more than 3000 audiences. This event is planned to be attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Minister of BUMN, Director of BUMN, strategic partners, sponsors, venture capital, media partners, community, and other invited guests
