Jakarta, February 5, 2025 – The BUMN Foundation held an audience with the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Bima Arya, at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office. The meeting aimed to discuss the synchronization of the Ruang Tumbuh program with the latest policies of the Ministry of Home Affairs and to ask for direction regarding the continued implementation of the program in order to optimize the role of Posyandu in improving public health services.

The audience was attended by the Chairman of the BUMN Foundation, Syafuan, along with Idris Ahmad as the Head of Health and Wellbeing of the BUMN Foundation who explained in detail the Ruang Tumbuh program. This program focuses on optimizing the function and space of Posyandu as well as revitalizing facilities and infrastructure to support child growth and development and overcome stunting problems. Also present at this meeting was Special Staff V of the Minister of BUMN, Mrs. Tsamara Amany, who provided support for the synergy initiative between the BUMN Foundation and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

One of the main topics of discussion in the audience was the relevance of the Ruang Tumbuh program to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 13 of 2024 which regulates the duties and authorities of Posyandu. The BUMN Foundation emphasized the need for synchronization with the policy so that the implementation of the program can run effectively and be integrated with applicable regulations. In addition, the collaboration mechanism between the BUMN Foundation and the Ministry of Home Affairs was also discussed to strengthen program execution in various regions.

On that occasion, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Bima Arya, provided several important notes and recommendations to ensure the program's alignment with national policies. He emphasized the importance of coordination with local governments in implementing the Ruang Tumbuh program in order to increase effectiveness and ensure the sustainability of the program in the long term. In addition, he suggested that trials be conducted in several regions as pilot projects before the program is implemented more widely. Synergy with various institutions engaged in public health is also a major concern so that the impact of the Ruang Tumbuh program can be further strengthened.

As a follow-up to this audience, the BUMN Foundation will prepare a more structured implementation plan in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs itself will provide support in the form of facilitating coordination with local governments and providing technical guidance so that the program can run optimally. With increasingly strong synergy, it is hoped that the Ruang Tumbuh program can provide real benefits to the community and realize Posyandu as one of the main pillars in improving the quality of health services in Indonesia.
